OUR STORY
Jim Fisher has provided over 40 years of financial & estate planning services for the business and professional communities. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU) in 1975, the Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC) in 1984, and his completed Masters Level certificates in Advance Estate Planning and Financial Counseling. He is a Registered Investment Advisor with CFIS, Inc. dba Trinity Financial Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College. Following college, he served as a Captain in the US Air Force (’66- ’70)
Jim has served as a member and past Chairman of the Pomona Valley Estate Planning Council, a lifetime member of the million Dollar Round Table, a member and past president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and as a member for over 30 years of the Pomona Valley Life Underwriters Association. He was also featured on the nationwide public television series, “Avoiding the Pitfalls in Your Estate Plan.”
Throughout his career, Jim has been serving in non-business related civic service. A few highlights include facilitator in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), facilitator and counselor in the Larry Burkett Biblical Financial Concepts (now Crown Ministries) program, youth leader, deacon, elder and service on the board of multiple endowment funds. Jim currently is serving and participating in ministry at Water of Life Community Church – Upland Campus. Many of the above represent join services with his wife, Marcia, and all of the above were possible only through teamwork with his wife of 50 years.
